Adding voice command

Post by steve1986 » Tue Jun 09, 2015 11:06 pm

Hi guys.

I have bluetooth on my e53 facelift but I don't think I have voice command, do you know how I upgrade to this.

Thanks again

See if there's a retrofit kit from BMW showing on Realoem.  If there is then you might have enough part numbers to hunt down the bits for less money than BMW want.

There is a good guide in the link above. Doesnt appear that difficult or expensive. The main item of expense is the voice command module and i'm sure you could find one second hand either direct from ebay or from an x5 being broken by one of the many 2nd parts suppliers.

Good luck and let us know how you get on!!!
