I've got LED bulbs through out the whole of the X. No errors and got mine from a mate who owns CPD.

Appreciate good intentions likley but telling members bulbs sourced from friends, contacts or ebay not much help to those after a decent source/supplier in abscence of further info &/or links.

As soon as I posted I sent a text to my mate. He replied saying there has been a bereavement in the family but will get an up to date price for me and then I was going to post up.

No problemo. I understand where you're coming from though as without further info the original posts are a little redundant.

Very fair comment, I don't even recall the sellers name but I will try and find them again and post a link to them or similar.

This post made me titter to be fair, I remember we went through this in a previous post and try as I did, nobody wanted to reveal their supplier for LED bulbs, is it the new contraband I wonder, and so the quest continues! :o)

Thanks for sharing info...............appreciated :)

Folk should be aware that these come in a variety of sizes/specs ......N.B. the kindly provided link is for 38mm "error free" festoon bulbs.

My LED advice..... Don't always buy cheapest out there. I have just binned some LED bulbs I had fitted on the front markers on the Z3 as they paretly died within a few months.

Another good point, I bought these number plate bulbs from one seller, but at the same time I had bought a set of sidelight bulbs from a different seller. A week later, I ordered another set of sidelight bulbs from that same guy for my mirror lights - same price, same ebay auction, just ordered 1 week apart. The first set were totally different to the second set - the second set kept going on and off so advised the seller and he replaced them with another set identical to the first pair and all was well - so quality varies even when dealing with the same seller at the same price!
