Good day all,

My name is dominic and over the weekend I purchased my first X5, Ive had a selectrion of decent bmw's in the past and decieded that its now my time to get a proper one.......

I went for a facelift E53 , 4.4i Sport

Based in Hertfordshire, joined the forum as its always nice to know if you need help someone with a bit of knowledge is about  :)

Welcome. Bought my first BMW and X5 over the weekend too. Will be taking it on a long drive to Finland at the end of the month!

Thanks guys. So far so good, always knew I would have to do a couple bits to it as let's be fair no second hand vehicle is perfect. The float in the water bottle is stuck down haha. That's first on the list

Good choice in a 4.4i, I would say that as I also have one but the X5 whichever model is a good car. Look forward to more details and pics of your car.

Thanks guys, had a few good weeks so far with it. Came to prepare it today for a trip to the sea side over the weekend. On way to petrol garage tonight and the passenger side xenon has stopped working  :o
Will have to investigate when home.
