Anyone recommend a garage in Swindon

Post by bonerp » Fri Feb 24, 2012 5:44 pm

My x5 needs bushes on the front but local garage suggested the wishbones at £520 fitted.

Anyone recommend a trusted garage they've used around here on their x5?

thanks

Yeah but I'm blind lol and I read all posts that show up unread on my iPhone so I don't usually pay too much attention to the titles.

I'll try harder next time lol

There is a BMW/Mercedes specialist out at Lydiard Millicent called PC Autocare who I have used a few times - but for general servicing and minor repairs. I've found them to be very knowledgeable and they certainly care about the job they do...

My mate took his 3 series to them a year ago and having 'completed' the service they hadn't even removed the oil filter or the sump plug or changed the fuel filter or air filter!!!! Since then Ive doubted their integrity. I addition they wanted to strip out my wishbones and replace them - turned out it needed just lower arms.

Cross street garage who i have now used several times was £520 and that was both arms fitted, and an interim service including adjusting handbrake. 1st time its worked :)
