Alloy Wheel Refurb advice? // London

Post by P6NDP » Thu Mar 10, 2016 11:30 am

Hi Guys,

I'm after some friendly recommendations on somewhere/someone reputable to refurb my alloys on my 2015 F15 X5, based in or around London (ideally South).

My wheels are the 20" M-Sport, the same as this: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTQ1NlgxNDcw/ ... 0/$_35.JPG

They aren't in terrible condition, but could do with a refresh getting rid of some horrible looking curb damage. Any thoughts on what I should be paying would be great too.

Thanks very much in advance.

Neil

I used this guys to refurb my wife's alloys (18" AMG's) , but they are based in Slough, which may be too far for you.
cost was £75 per wheel, as hers were diamond cut and in a shocking condition. we had them sprayed in silver.

I know a guy I trust in Guildford if that's not too far.

Always been very happy with his work.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the comments and suggestions.

I've phoned around a few places and all in the same ball-park of around £80-£100 a wheel, apart from BMW Cooper Croydon who want £135+VAT.

I've opted for Posh Wash on Park Lane who've agreed to do it for £95 a wheel inc VAT. I'm picking it up this evening so will post some pictures back.

Thanks again.

I dont want to put you off but Posh wash in Brentford / Isleworth ripped me off and did a pathetic job of painting the calipers on my z4. I would run a mile from them. Crooks.

Ah, interesting. They done the wheel refurb and painted the calipers and drums and done an awesome job.

Guess time will tell if those annoying rusty calipers and drums return!
