Hi Everyone
Will a rear bumper from a pre facelift 4.6is fit my 55 plate 3.0d I have the arch extensions on my car so think it will line up with them.

you dont nned to change the full bumper, just remove the 4.6 spoiler and clip it to your existing bumper

I am going to pick the new bumper up tomorrow. It will be much easier if I can fit the spoiler to my existing bumper.
Will keep you posted and get some pics up as soom as it is fitted.

4.6is Bumper

Post by B5tew » Fri Nov 18, 2011 2:12 pm

Just a quick update on the fitting of the rear bumper spoiler
It fits on the existing bumper all you need to do it cut 5 slots in the existing bumper for the clips to locate
One thing you do need as well as the spoiler is the arch extensions as they are different to the standard onesImage

It does look good but I have now got to decide if I get the exhausts done

I'm tempted but prices are extortionate!

If you don't mind me asking, what was the damage on the rear (PM if you like)?

I paid £250 for the whole bumper so I have now got a 4.6is back bumper, minus the spoiler and arch extensions, surplus to requirements.

Ouch - high price to pay buddy. But we have no common sense when it comes to mods!

You can get the right rear arch extensions on their own from the $tealers if you need.

Regards rear exhausts - I haven't bothered, like it the way it is but lots love the look. Being diesel you can get fakes or go the whole hog (dear). But you'll always get that black smoke too.
