These ones look really simple but i cant decide whether just to get a cheap set just incase or have something easy to put on. I should probably find out mor...

Well when Saudi Arabia and Iraq are your neighbours and the rest of the country is sand there really isnt anywhere to go......could be worse though.....could be Belgium

Re: Stratstones bmw alloy and tyre insurance
Took out tyre insurance with Motorway direct when i got the X - Cost £300. In the first year I had 4 new tyres from it as there was a lot of building going on in the area and kept getting screws and stuff stuck in the tyres. From then onwards its been probably 1 or 2 a year. Runs out in October th...

Re: Greasing the Panoramic roof
Ive been using a silicone grease / ptfe spray. I just wipe around the edges to clean the dirt off and provide some lubrication to the outside seals.
Usually have to do it monthly or the roof starts to stick and refuses to go down

Re: 'Battery low' warning for remote key
Had problems with mine recently and it was only after a little research i found that if you have comfort access the battery doesnt charge when the keys in the slot. Think all the glueing and soldering is for the rechargeable keys. Was pleasantly simple to sort out but will now keep a couple of the b...

Re: Tyres - what's illegal when edges are worn
Agree with X5Sport. Does look about normal......these are heavy cars and the tyre edges do wear quickly especially when chucked around roundabouts
