Re: Especially for KJB...

I saw an all black with the aero kit and it looked very good. Stealthy. I'm not sure what to think of the aero in part silver in those pics.

Surprising that the dealer wouldn't help in getting the arches added. They should at least be able to do it as a retrofit when the car arrives at the dealership.

Give it 3 months and there will probably be a DIY on the American BMW forums.

Re: Especially for KJB...

You can never go wrong with a bit of contrast, although the silver on black looks like the x6 front.

Re: Can I fit flared wheel arch trims to new X5 xDrive30d SE ?

You are correct I would think. On the e70 the flat and flared arches were interchangeable. They had to be because the flared arches were made for fitting in place of the flat ones when 20s were added, and so logic would suggest that it will be exactly the same with the f15 - the flared arches should...

Especially for KJB...

You may remember commenting that you wondered what it would look like to have the centre portion of the rear aero splitter in a contrasting colour... Well I got curious too... I knew once I did this I would have to finish the job  :)) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/82220798/2014-04-11%2015.03.2...

Later plate, lower miles I presume. To quote a classic movie that I can't name right now "Kid, you might just be okay!"

Re: Service Advisories - autobox leak? new guy :xmastongue:

Audi's aren't that bad for build quality. I think everyone agrees on that. The problem with Audi's is the driving experience is always a bit boring. The Q7 is like driving a barge compared to an e70. If you had got another Q7 I wouldn't be worried for you. The problem with RR is that they have that ...

Re: Service Advisories - autobox leak? new guy :xmastongue:

You have a real lemon there I'm afraid. Was it from a dealer or private sale? I mean I know we said maintenance on these cars can be hard but you seem to have experienced almost every problem in one go at the same time! That is just not normal. I will say that honestly, a RR is just a terrible terri...

That boot floor is an engineering masterpiece. The wheels are a perfect combination of art and function. Like poetry.
