Was it much work to get the bumper off? Do you know what caused the initial wearing of the wire?

I'm amazed you're changing the rears if they have 11000 miles left.

Having said that, my obc has been telling me my rears have 1200 miles left in them for about  8 months now!

I think all E70 LCI (build date post mid 2010) apart from the X5M have the 8 speed box. My 2010 40D certainly does.

So after trying to get main dealer to do the oil change in my 40D with the 2 containers of Castrol Edge (LL04) 5W30 fully synthetic oil that I have left over from when I bought loads when I had my E53...and them refusing. I'm going to give it away. I think it says 2011/2012 on the containers, which ...
