Parking question in and about London.

Heading to the Hammersmith Apollo in July to see Faith No More , well, driving from Aberdeen to Llandudno for a stop over (few nights on the lash) then driving down on the Sunday. Questi...

Re: Whoops!
Bugger. That's a very costly mistake. As you say, glad that no one hurt and in one piece.
It's a huge shame though, they've put so much effort into this over the years.
Will be a very sad day when they stop flying this beauty.

Re: How to ruin an X5
Thats just plain silly. Just think of the stress the door frames will be under when open, the X5 doors are not exactly light.
Just casue it can be done, dont mean that it should.

Re: Anybody actually prefer the E53 to the E70....
[quote=""X5Sport""]The E53 wasn't a 'Bangle' design, hence ageing more gracefully that some of his other work...... :? Still he's gone now so no more 'flame' shapes like the last generation 1, 3, 5 and 7 series, and I suspect the X3 and pre-LCI E70. I also think the E36 was a muc...

Re: Gear change
The gearbox has been serviced and fluid changed before I bought it. But I did think about that.
I've also done the soft reset and it came back after driving for a bit.
Looks like I'll just have to put up with it. I kinda realised that I may have too, just thought I'd ask on here too.
Cheers.

Re: Gear change
Thought I'd jump in whilst we are talking about gear changes.
I'm getting a lurch when slowing down to a stop. I've had my mate (BMW tech) clear the settings but it is still doing it.
Is there any way to stop it from doing this, apart from going into the sport mode and choosing the gear manually?
