I read about this on another forum and tried it on my E93 but it wouldn't start although turned on enough to allow me to turn radio on etc.  very strange

Mine was 108k and I didn't change it as Sanj says if you can't feel anything wrong don't change it.  My BMW tech did say about changing it but also asked if I had any issues and when I said no he was happy to leave it be

I used wonder wheels but nothing was as good as fine wire wool then sealing them.  I took off all the rubber plugs with the back end of two spoons :-)

I used Brembo and was very happy but I believe some others emit less brake dust.  I had patten parts before and the squeal and dust were awful.

What a beautiful example.  It's gleaming :-) I would definitely buy another X5.  If you do your research you can factor in these costs.  Like you said re the warranty you took a punt as I did also and didn't regret it. :-)

Yep it has pro NAV and it appears to be very good :-) I also like the Bluetooth audio streaming from the iphone :-) Yes you do feel bumps on the road on the RF's but I expected that after reading comments.  Mind you on those 19's it makes the tyres look like rubber bands. Don't worry I'll be crying ...
