Re: Parking heater remote start- Enabling
The IHKA39_5 in your pic does seem to suggest the problem could be related to the climate control (havac) side of things. Maybe worth pulling out the climate control unit and checking if all the connections are seated properly . It may be that the circuit board on the climate control unit has failed...

Re: Parking heater remote start- Enabling
Hey Rob, Unfortunately I cannot help with the error code but I did encounter a similar problem once when the fan did not come on using the Telestart remote . I fitted and coded a Telestart T90 to my X5 and the system has worked perfectly except for this one time. Like your car the temp needle reache...

Re: Motorised boot floor
How bizarre (for me) this thread should start the day i fit a pull out boot floor in my E53. As Richards` post these are not motorised and it`s function is exactly as Richard described. Not difficult to fit either thats if you can source one. It took me roughly an 1hr 30 mins to fit. BMW did a retro...

Re: wheel arch extensions where to buy
When i phoned BMW parts a few years back these were roughly £470 - £480, so when this thread started back in May and a heads up from graemeX5 ( thanks graeme :ok: ) they seemed a steal at £216 in comparison so i bought a set from my local`ish BMW dealer. As Sanj said the ebay listing is incorrect , ...

Re: webasto question (again :))
[quote="jaynana"] those who have telestart or remote start sorted out on the webastos (ie, switching it on by giving +12v to pin 1), if you give +12v to pin 1 on a day like today (23c outside), does the webasto run? basically, does the switch on method of +12v to pin 1 seem to ignore the o...

Re: Loss of control
Loss of control (slip) may be attributed to incorrectly fitted tyres. Tyres with directional tread fitted facing the wrong way will not disperse water properly. Directional tyres usually have a arrow pattern in the tread and are designed to work in only one direction of rotation and this will usuall...

Re: Come on then - Let's try to sort a Meet out
Sounds good and I`m very flexible with dates so will keep an eye on this thread. I`ll also bring along my laptop. I`ve got a working DIS/SSS INPA NCS EXPERT aswell as Scanner 1.4.0 and Navcoder. As some of you might be aware these software allow you to program certain modules on your car ( car key ...

I would try the fuel pump relay first as these relays have failed before .
